Vaughn in Psycho. The problem there is, they didnt want an Anthony Perkins type as Norman-they wanted a John Gavin to be the Norman. If you use a guy who is physically strong enough to be threatening, it defeats the purpose. The gist of Norman bates was that he seemed nonthreatening.
