Because critics are beginning to realize that Aquaman isn't an MCU movie.  Oh dear, DC-Fan just said that the early positive reviews for Aquaman were undeserved due to “MCU bias” and a mass case of mistaken identity by the critics. Now that they know Aquaman isn’t MCU, the truthful (bad) reviews are coming in. That’s big of him to admit.
