And prior to the RT score dropping, Aquaman had a relatively good RT score.

DC-Fan says that MCU movies get good reviews, not because they are good movies, but because of something he calls, “MCU bias”. ... You are aware of this, right? I mean, it’s one of his most common excuses.

Now, we just put the pieces together.

Aquaman early reviews were artificially elevated because the critics (mistakenly) thought it was an MCU movie and due to their positive bias toward that studio.

Now that they are aware it is not a MCU movie, the “MCU bias” no longer applies, and unbiased (truthful) reviews are coming in ... which is causing the RT score to drop.

Simple.
