Although I didn’t begin my journey through the 14 Rathbone/Bruce Sherlock Holmes films (all reviewed on the weekly threads over the course of a month or so) until this fall, the germ was planted by a thread in the summer started by Lebowskidoo 🎄😷🎄 on What are the best Sherlock Holmes movies? The discussion there with contributions from the O.P., Salzmank , teleadm , marshamae , and others made me finally go ahead on my trip (two of the final three films actually took place during a trip, a passenger ship and a train). Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun back in July.  I went as far as Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon (1942) and haven't gone back...yet. I'm so easily distracted.  |
