Guess that is what they call anecdotal misconception, confirmation bias and milieu orientation.

So far, the only women I've met in real life who preferred the DCEU movies were those who were already fans of the characters. For the regular gals (i.e. non-comicbook fans) they seem to gravitate more towards the MCU as far as I can tell.
