Social experiment: I met a lady who's never watched any MCU or DCEU movies...

It's getting harder and harder to find people who haven't had some kind of touch point with the MCU or comic book movies in general. A family friend who is a staunch hater of science fiction, comic books, and comic book movies has been sucked into the CBM vortex by his younger nephews. He's seen three MCU films on video and one DCEU film in theaters (Aquaman). He uniformly declared them all trash but, interestingly enough, he said Captain America: Winter Soldier was "not a complete dumpster fire." That's extremely high praise coming from him.
