We got the trailer for Dark Phoenix in front of Aquaman. No one seemed interested. I even heard people behind me muttering things like “I’m not seeing that”. I’ll still probably see New Mutants. The Captain Marvel trailer was shown too. The audience seemed to like it fine. I’ll admit it does look better on the theater screen. Dark Phoenix just looks ridiculously dull and repetitive. It also doesn't help that Sophie Turner is a pretty dull actress. Why are you complaining about it looking repetitive when that’s the point? That’s like complaining about Back To The Future 2 revisiting moments in the previous movie. Like that movie the repetitions are a part of the story based around time travel tropes. |
