This is true. But there's the Christmas slump and bump as I like to call it, low opening weekends and long legs (Jumanji: Into the Jungle anyone?). And opening weekend competition against two other big family movies: Mary Poppins Returns and Bumblebee. If neither of those movies had opened the same weekend Aquaman might've made that money. We'll see how it plays out...
