How many times have you ranted about how great Superman: The Movie is? Doesn't he just undo everything by flying around the earth to turn back time
No, Superman just undoes the previous few minutes, not the entire movie. So everything that happened before (e.g. Kal-El arriving on Earth and being found by the Kents, Jonathan Kent dying of a heart attack, Clark getting a job at the Dailey Planet and meeting Perry, Lois, and Jimmy, etc.) all of that still happened. Jonathon Kent didn't come back. Avengers 4 will reverse everything in IW, from Gamora's death to Doctor Strange's death to Vision's death to all the deaths by Thanos' snap so nothing that happened in IW sticks. IW was just a waste of 2+ hours. Most of those deaths (excluding Gamora) happened near the end of the film. |
