Me and the ex had a pregnancy scare once. (Neither of us wanted kids, but she couldn't remember to take her pills for shit in the beginning. I told her that's what the sugar pills in the packs are for, but she would skip those and sometimes forget to take the first actual pill.) I had her convinced for Vassago Daemon for a boy and Lilith Nyx for a girl. We would've called it by their middle name. I go by my middle and so does she. Not exactly superhero names mind you, just thought I'd share. The problem with this is that you might still have children one day... and you might still name them one of those dumb ass names.
Fuck it. I got better choices for you: Name them Gotham if its a boy or Thorin if its a girl. It'll be an improvement.
Vassago Daemon or Lilith Nyx... did you get those from the local satanic death cult registry? Was Voldemort already taken? Do want the children to have a complex? Is that it? Life is hard as it is man. Don't give them another hurdle before they're even born.
Nyx and Daemon aren't really evil just the Greek Goddess of Night and mischievous spirits respectively. There was some talk of going with Damon instead of Daemon as it was more common. Like Damon Berryhill. Now granted Vassago and Lilith are pretty famous Jewish Demons. In the Lesser Key of Solomon they call Vassago a Spirit, but that was Aliester Crowley's spin on it. Although it was said that Solomon did use them to build his temple so maybe Vassago can be considered a spirit not a demon. Lilith was double edged. My ex had a grandmother named Lilith so it wasn't just a name that fit the theme we were going with. Edit: Now there was talk in the beginning about going with Stephen Ray. After Stephen King and Dean Ray Koontz, but sounded to Rednecky. And Tabitha Liegh. after Tabitha King and Leigh Nichols one of Dean's pen names. Again shot down because kinda Rednecky.
