Because IW was a waste of 2+ hours since everything that happened in IW will just be reversed like IW never happened.

Do you consider the original Jumanji ,The Wizard of Oz, DOFP and so many other stories where nearly everything to even everything that "happened" was undone a waste of time because it ends at the beginning?

I don't know how this story will turn out, and there are plenty of valid criticisms of the story so far, but an ending that puts us at the beginning, that doesn't make the story a waste IMHO.
