Are people really high-fiving in this thread over breaking 500m$? Imagine just before MoS came out in 2012 after billion dollar colossus TDKR, that you’d tell everyone, “6 years from now this is what DCEU discussion will resort to.”
Hopefully Shazam changes even fans’ opinions on this franchise.

BtW, in the meantime Aqua crossed 600M within no time is carefully projected as 1B contender and is highest grossing opener in some countries since the dawn of filmmaking (cf box office thread for more).
And LOL², did you really just compare the end result of the third Nolan Batman film with the opening box office results of a freaking DCEU Aquaman movie...?
Yes. Once upon a time these movies had more hope than just being LOL’d at. And breaking opening weekend records for countries with a box office haul of under 500k is... I don’t know what that is. Congratulations Yugoslavia, you made people respect Aquaman.
