Badass man ! I loved Dunkirk and was in awe of it when I saw it opening day in theaters ( kinda kicking myself for not seeing it in IMAX but oh well) . Also , the reason I think Nolan is "too good" for Star Wars is because he seems pretty serious when he makes films . By all accounts , SW is supposed to be family fun and "light" in tone . Nolan COULD pull it off for sure imo but I don't think it'd be suitable for him. I was thinking that too, but then I remembered Empire isn't too different tonally from Nolan. How is Empire anything like something Nolan would have come up with? Just because something is a slightly darker take on something doesn't automatically mean it's similar to Christopher Nolan. |
