Because the angle o see if the batter swung through is clearer from 1st Base or 3rd Base than from behind Home Plate. Why do you think some angles of instant reply are inconclusive while other angles of instant replay are more conclusive? Because the location where the camera is can make a huge difference as to what can be seen.
