hm. isnt this what they said about star wars. the oringal trilogy and even the prequels ....it was in the past. well. the past came back to destroy new mcu disney star wars. a past as far back as 1979. when the world noticed force awakens was just a remake of the 1979 new hope movie.

What will MCU xmen do?
for comics movies they were the closest things we had. the equivalent for what star wars was to sci fantasy for comics. X1 and X2 are timeless comic classic that still get referenced all the time. hey... didnt black panther try to get inspiration from it with xavier and magneto social issues angle to generic results?
just be around to argue with Sir Ian Mckellen once he slams mcu xmen and calls them out for the brainless movies they are. though by them X2 will have killed mcu xmen. the same way a new hope killed the force awakens.
