"Oliver and Company" seems like the movie time forgot. I'm sort of neutral on Disney, but that was some of the last great hand-drawn animation they did. And the songs are awesome. Billie Joel was also in his prime at the time (I think he still sounds great, but he was on fire in this). "The Blob" yes! This was an unbelievably good and out of left field horror remake. "Beetlejuice" A pretty bizarre movie at its foundation, but exceptionally well executed. One of my all-time favorites. I can't think of a single movie like it. Edit: Forgot about "Coming To America." One of the first times I can remember laughing so hard it hurt. I saw those movies in theaters when i was 6/7 that year even Oliver and Company 3 times in my city theaters even after New Year's day! i had some O&C merchandise as a kid even the CD soundtrack which i got for christmas and i remembered being pissed off it never came to video the next year and had to wait 8 years.
