yup, would have been better. The writers and directors were seemingly proud to have worked out the similarities between Supes and Bat, and their motivations, so that they overstressed it and executed in a corny, melodramatic way. Bummer. I am generally against having middle aged men in costumes clobber because of mommy issues or resolve clobber conflict because of mommy issues; where did this start? But to each their own. It should have ended with Superman showing mercy, having Batman beaten, and giving an epic speach, convincing Batman to help him. You're right, it's a shame. It sucks, but that phase of the DCEU is over. This is an odd thread. I'm not sure what the OP is thinking. The DCEU is thriving. Yes. It's just the usual smear campaign. You have an entire media industry in desperate need of clicks (especially on You Tube). Thus creating garbage-tier click bait content like this. The more sensationalistic the more likely to be clicked in the thousands (giving rise to ample ad revenue). Always pandering to the lowest instincts of their target audience: here to a MCU fan desperately wishing DC dead, especially when being too successful. The death of DC is a popular theme. Even worse are the countless death of Star Wars and Star Trek articles/vids. You even have end of MCU crap, especially in view of CapMarvel. Of course multi billion franchises are TOO BIG TO FAIL. Media parasites know that And they need them to survive themselves. Even trolls need them to do their trolling.
