That is absolutely wrong. I know against the Rams, Mahomes threw an interception in his failed comeback. Brees is a leader that inspires his whole team. Mahomes does not inspire his team to victory in big games. He threw an interception? Yeah, he also threw for almost 500 yards and 6 freaking TDs. What more is he supposed to do to “inspire” his team to win? You throw 6 TDs in a game, you win 99% of those games and everyone is talking about what a great player and winner you are. You want to talk about statistics? Doesn't Patrick Mahomes lead the league in interceptions? It doesn't matter what your personal statistics are. If you cannot win games, you are not the most valuable player.
