The Patriots have earned a first round bye for the ninth consecutive season, and the 13th time in Brady's 18 seasons. That's 72.2% of his seasons, 76.5% if you don't count the 2008 injury year. By comparison, Pittsburgh and Denver are tied for second place with five each during the same time period. Pittsburgh and Denver would've earned just as many 1st-round byes if they got 6 games against 3 weak division foes like the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets every year. |
