I lived directly behind a drive in for a couple years. I could look out the kitchen window & see the film just fine, but it was pointless without sound & a waste of time. Not the same at allSo if he watches it with the sound off, it's okay then? This was when I was in High School. I realized it was pointless even though I was just a teen because one couldn't get the point of the movie & standing at the kitchen sink to watch a movie was stupid & pointless. So I figured that out when I was 15, but DC-FAN who is way past that age hasn't figured it out? At this same time, I worked as a concessions stand worker at the local walk-in theater. We weren't paid cash as it was a community theater. We were paid in free movie passes-6 per month as I recall. The theater only showed family films-G & PG movies the projectionist had previewed & found acceptable like Star Wars. It was easier to pop in when I was working, but because I was working, I couldn't watch the whole movie
