Even if there are better individual movies outside the MCU, as a series as a whole no superhero series can compare. The most respected and revered superhero franchise of all-time is definitely The Dark Knight. All 3 movies have an IMDb rating of 8.3 or higher and all 3 movies are in the IMDb top 116. Even on RT (which MCU fans love to use as a metric), all 3 movies have an RT rating of 84% or higher.
