I liked it!
Much more than Wonder Woman.
I mean, it was goofy as all get up, but I found myself laughing with it more than at it.
I can’t really think of anything that made it a particularly “good” movie ... maybe it was a case of reduced expectations ... but it put a smile on my face, and that’s a win in my book.
I would definitely put Aquaman as the best DCEU movie so far and a worthy template for that franchise moving forward.
There is nothing wrong with being the court jester, as long as you're a good court jester. Aquaman is.
