I've always wondered how Ash got in without her hearing or seeing him in the first place as she's in there.

I figured the noise the doors made was like hydraulics or something opening them, and Ash just disconnected them and opened it by hand.

One has to wonder why he would do that, but he didn't seem terribly stable, mentally speaking.
