If we're presuming the existence of God for the sake of this thread then your question is kind of silly. 


IF God exists, there is generally an afterlife going along with that. 

IF there is an afterlife, the worst suffering here gets put into a different perspective. 




Bone cancer for children becomes a morbid amusement park ride for the soul, or a way for the immortal to experience mortality.
