And you are missing the point entirely. The profanity fits within his character profile and Fox arent afraid to hide it. Together with his cigar smoking and violent claw slashing, even in PG13 movies, can you say with confidence Disney is gonna allow all of that? We already know the answer is no, because they have very strict guidelines which cater to certain audience members. Instead of dick, theyl be using lame substitutes like turds, zuchinnis and penis Parker jokes. They wont allow him to smoke. They will neuter his claw slashing too. But as long as he wears his bright yellow spandex right?
I thought we were talking strictly about the use of the f-bomb. Take that away and there's just as much profanity and cursing in the MCU films as there is in the Dark Knight Trilogy, the DCEU and the Fox-Men films (until '11). Are you saying Nolan is a coward and catering to children too for not having more profanity in his films? Seems like his dark, mature, grounded Batman films would have been the perfect place to drop a few, don't you? Seeing as how that's so important to you.
I'm sure they'll allow Wolverine to smoke a cigar here and there, just as they allow Stark to drink alcohol. If not, it's no big loss. It would be a minor gripe. How often did he even have a cigar in the Fox films beyond a couple of scenes anyway? And I'm sure he'll be using his claws the same way they used them in the PG-13 Fox-Men films. Do you expect him to just stand around? If they tone it down a little, it wouldn't bother me. I'm happy as long as he uses them. Black Panther used his claws.
Better saying dick than hide the zucchini and penis parker or other lame jokes like that.
Nolan didnt need to use profanity in any of his characters they didnt need it in their characters.
Wolverine smoked alot in x2 x3. Smoking is on disneys banned list so doubt well see it.
Black panther never used his claws to sinch into enemies with any ferocity. They wont show wolverine like his alkali breakout or mansion attack.
