Thanos and IW don't make sense

I got to the part where the difference between “conceived” and “born” was explained. No child is going to be born in the short period of time after the snap who wasn't already in the fetal state, prior to the snap. And any copulation that occurred after the snap would simply occur again if time gets reset in IW2.
