I am establishing an objective fact about what the popular opinion is. Popular works of art are judged by subjective popular opinion. If your opinion differs significantly from the norm, then by definition, your opinion is abnormal. Case in point would be someone who declares that The Avengers, Iron Man, Winter Soldier and Logan are terrible movies. That person’s opinion is abnormal. I know a huge number of people who would consider any film featuring superheroes to be terrible and a complete waste of time to go see. I don't feel them to have any kind of "abnormal" opinion. I may not agree with the them, but there is nothing abnormal about it. Non superhero movie fans would naturally be excluded from any discussion about superhero movies. You don’t ask a vegetarian which hamburger is best. |
