I don't think you will find many people who disagree with that.
Where do you stand on the reaction of certain "DCU tribalists," who are now loving this movie after years of championing the "gritty" DCU and hating on the more upbeat tone of the MCU.  Is that really different than the MCU fans who did the opposite: defended the lighter tone and weak villains and then reversed that stance when IW came out? Spoiler: All fanboys are hypocrites. Weird, since many MCU fans seem to think highly of movies like the TDK. It’s almost as if they like dark and gritty when it is well executed, unlike anything done by the DCEU. On the flip side, it’s not the execution of the MCU lighter tone that DCEU fans have scoffed at, it’s the lighter tone itself. And defending an otherwise great movie with a “weak” villain is not the antithesis of appreciating a great movie with a strong villain. That is why DCEU fans are hypocrites, and MCU fans are not.
