Of course winning a SB often has a lot to do with who your coaching. How do you think Reid would have done if he had been coaching Brady all these years instead of Belichick? I mean, without the cheating aspect...
Seriously, you make it sound like he's a horrible coach but he's really not. And the Marvin Lewis comparison was not very good either. Reid's stats make Lewis look like an average coach.
Tell me what in his life has Andy Reid won? He’s been to one Super Bowl and lost. You know who else has been to one Super Bowl and lost? Jeff Fisher. Andy Reid makes the playoffs most years and doesn’t win anything meaningful. You can paint him whatever degree of competence you want but ultimately I want a coach who can win the big game, something that Reid has failed at more times than I can count, mostly due to his poor decision making and clock management. So I stand by my slightly more successful Marvin Lewis comparison. Lewis always lost in the playoffs. Reid May win a game or two before losing.
He's won 195 games in the NFL. That's more than EVERY coach currently playing in the league right now, other than Belichick, a man that had to cheat to get there. He's won the NFC title game, he's won coach of the year 4 times from various publications, he won a SUPER BOWL as an assistant coach for the Green Bay Packers, plus he won 4 consecutive eastern division titles for the Eagles, longest in franchise history. and now he won the home field advantage throughout the playoffs for the Chiefs.
On a side note, what have you won?
