So what? Jay Wright coached the 2016 Villanova team. Why didn't that Villanova team lose in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament like so many of Jay Wright's previous Villanova teams had?
Because that 2016 Villanova team had nothing to do with those previous Villanova teams that lost in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament. Just like this current Chiefs team has nothing to do with previous Chiefs teams that lost in the playoffs.
There is always a first time for everything. But until it happens, people are going to have a hard time backing him in big games and the post season.
