Yes they probably will do that but I don’t think that anyone really cares if they do. No one watches the Bay films for the plot, so what difference does it make if it’s contradicted? Other film series couldn’t stand for contradiction but Transformers will be fine. Besides, TF Bumblebee is already gearing towards a new gen of kids, more than the Bay films which tried too hard to impress G1 fans. Actually, the problems were that they didn't impress G1 fans all that much. I can't really think of any G1 fans who looked at Bay's films and thought, "Yep, that's awesome." |
