I saw the trailer in theater and liked it, bit of a bitter-sweet nostalgic feel to it. Looking forward to that Mutants horror film too. However, the prolific X-Men franchise - which is considered the dawn of the modern CBM, or at least of Marvel, and brought us classics like X1, X2, DoFP, Deatpool or LOGAN - is dead and buried under a big X-cross. Now comes the age of MCU-Men and if the regular MCU is any indication, it will be pretty juvenile and formulaic. Expect no Logans, not even Deadpools, but Fragglerock. X-men seems more like the leftover of an era between Batman & Robin and Raimi's Spider-man that they are trying to very slowly crawl out of. I'd say Raimi's Spider-man is the dawn of the modern CBM.
