This is going to be interesting. He got a $5,000,000 bonus to be at Oakland's training camp in one month. About the time the NFL combines start. He can't do both. The A's didn't cough up big bucks to watch his run countless 40 yard sprints. To my understanding, he got the bonus, the Athletics allowed him to play for the Sooners this year and he was to be in camp in February. Are the A's just going to kiss 5 million goodbye? And he cannot do both. Not a quarterback. If they need to fill a pre-season roster spot, I'd be happy to show up in camp for much less. At 41 I can't guarantee the same results as Murray, but I'll give it a go.
