Heaps of people cared, what are you on about? Just because it didn't end up being very good does not change that.
What in the world are you talking about bloated? If anything, it's not bloated enough! They should have added more extra content to it like originally planned.
The Hobbit movies = around 8.5/10 each
Fantastic Beasts = 6/10
Crimes of Grindelwald = 5/10
For me it's actually Fantastic Beasts because no one ever cared.
At least with The Hobbit, the core elements can still be appreciated amongst the bloated mess of a trilogy.
