wait - wasn't he like the youngest rookie to start a playoff game (I may be wrong) - and I noticed you didn't mention that ' last' quarter ...... and the whole point of my post was the 'expert pundits' had stated he'd be broken in half at QB in the NFL and couldn't possibly survive. I didn't see that. I saw a kid that came in and showed some guts, versatility and poise and led the Ravens to the playoffs.................. hey - I get your a steelers fan but there's no reason to hate on the kid Bub. The last quarter when the Chargers were playing prevent on his first TD? Yeah, I forgot that. RGIII made it through one year. Never did I say that he couldn't get through one year playing that way. But he isn't accurate. He's frickin' Kordell Stewart. Stewart was MORE accurate in college than he was. The rules make it easier for QBs to complete passes today, so he'll have that advantage, but I'm more than fine with the Ravens having him. kid turned 22 4 days ago isn't accurate? granted he was initially labeled as a running QB at Louisville but made some strides even after winning the Heisman in his passing game - he was 'growing' and still is. just turned 22. he was drafted late in the 1st after winning the Heisman in a power Conference who played against the likes of Clemson and Fla State. he's a 'winner'. never received the appropriate respect coming out of college (like Watson) with the 'experts' stating he'd go in the 4th or 5th round. kid came in late season and showed some poise in my eyes - completion percentage of 58% - which isn't lighting the world on fire by any means - but is completing more than half of his passes for a rookie thrown to the wolves for a team fighting for a playoff spot late in the season - lets not forget dropped balls here and the talent of your receiving core - coming into play when considering completion %. poor kid just can't catch a break by the masses. I must be his only fan.
