We'll just have to agree to disagree, kijii. Here's a clip from the Broadway show. Like I said, I liked Taylor in the film, but I think Bel Geddes would have been more down to earth. I doubt that Elia Kazan would ever have chosen Taylor. And for the record, Bel Geddes received a Tony nomination for her performance.
