Braun Strowman at the start of RAW was stripped of his title shot by Vince McMahon after Strowman damaged Vince's limo trying to attack Baron Corban.
We then get Vince coming out to the ring to announce the new #1 contender and out comes John Cena, Drew McIntyre, Baron Carban and Finn Balor to accept said challenges. Balor talks about how Vince never believed in him as Vince indeed states to "how much beef the other 3 superstars have". So Finn says the people believe in him but since Vince is too stubborn to listen, he'll just show him. Balor then attacks Corban and then Drew lays all 3 of them out. Vince books a 4 way main event to determine the new challenger.
Then backstage Jinder Mahal asks for an opportunity. Vince says he can face any of the 4 men tonight and if he beats them he can take their spot. He chooses Balor. Balor gets attacked pre match and over comes the odds to win.
Then in the main event we see Finn Balor pin John Cena clean in the middle of the ring to earn the shot against Brock Lesnar. So not only did Balor wrestle twice in the same night he also pinned "big match John" to get the shot.
The reports of Balor getting a push after TLC sure seem to be legit. They went out of there way to make Balor look like a million bucks tonight. I legit can't wait for the Royal Rumble now. I'd love to see Brock Lesnar drop the belt to The Demon. Do I think it'll happen? No. But damn it, one can dream.
