Drive 8/10 still his best for me
We agree now as up until those recent re-watches I might have slightly favored Only God Forgives over Drive, but not anymore. so Drive is his clear cut best for me at this point as it's the only one that stands out.
Only god forgives 4.5/10 I like the visuals and score but not much else
Yeah, but I think that's partially what carries it to a mild Thumbs Up from me so far.
also, I think in terms of characters Kristin Scott Thomas is one of the better characters in the movie, maybe the best.
Neon demon - 5.5 some good performances , Keanu is bad though
Yeah, there is probably some decent performances and all at times but the overall movie just don't work for me anymore.
Karate kid 3 - 6/10 solid enough capper to the trilogy
Speaking of this... I forgot to mention but I just found out that Robyn Lively (who's in Karate Kid 3) is Blake Lively's half sister as it shows this in her IMDb profile... "her younger half-sister Blake Lively"
also, Robyn would have probably been about 16 years old at the time of filming (could not have been more than 17), assuming it was within about a year of it's release, but, at least to me, she seems older than that. like early-to-mid 20's.
and another thing I noticed a while ago that I thought I would mention in it's trivia section on the movie...
Film debut of Thomas Ian Griffith, who portrays a Vietnam veteran; in real life, Griffith was only 13 years old when the Vietnam War ended. At the time this movie was made, Thomas was also four months younger than Ralph Macchio who played a teenager.
so it's kind of funny as Thomas Ian Griffith, the villain in the movie, was actually younger than Ralph Macchio in real life but it seems the other way around.

While filming, Sean Kanan performed his own stunts, including one wherein he lunged forward and landed on his stomach for 20 takes. After taking aspirin for four days to deal with the residual pain, Kanan fell unconscious. At a hospital, he was diagnosed with internal bleeding caused by a torn abdominal wall.

Mr. Miyagi plant store was an old building in Highland Park, Ca. Also Daniel girlfriend pottery shop was across the street from it . You can look up where Mr. Miyagis building used to be at on google maps 128 N ave 50, 90042. You can still see the train tracks where the bullies busted doughnuts in the mustang, after destroying Mr. Miyagis store.
That place sure has changed since the movie as the google maps stuff appears to be from 2015 which I imagine looks pretty much the same today as you can go to the Google maps street view and look around the area.
