Glavine made an entire career by throwing 100 pitchers per game that were about 3 inches outside the strike zone but because he hit that same exact spot every single time, it was always called a strike. Such annoying bullshit, he did that for years with the Braves and then again with the Mets, albeit with less success. Then, of course, with a "do or die" type of situation in Game 162 in 2007, a home game the Mets had to win in order to reach the playoffs and avoid a catastrophic choke job, Glavine gave up 7 runs to the Marlins, getting only 1 out. Mets lose, miss the playoffs, and that was the last time he suited up for the team.
