Gunnery Sergeant Hartman chewing out Private Pyle after finding a jelly donut in his foot locker in "Full Metal Jacket". Totally humiliating. NOTE: I was in the military during the Vietnam war. Humiliation was a common tactic used by drill instructors in boot camp, then as it probably is today. "What is your major malfunction?!"
Made all the better because apparently a good portion of said dialog was stuff R. Lee Ermey came up with himself. He was so good they re-cast the role with him even though they had another guy already.
