Brady and Belichick are only 3-5 on the road this season. So the Pats aren't a good road team this season and thus unlikely to end their road losing streak in AFC Championship Games. Past performance is not indicative of future results. That's what I've been telling all the people who picked the Pats to win, saying that Kansas City has a past history of losing in the playoffs. But while Brady and Belichick were present during the last 3 Pats AFC Championship Games on the road (all of which were losses), Patrick Mahomes wasn't present for any of the Chiefs' previous playoff losses. In fact, the Chiefs are undefeated in the playoffs whenever Patrick Mahomes starts. So history would favor the Chiefs (who have never lost a playoff game that Patrick Mahomes started) over the Pats (who have lost 3 straight AFC Championship Games on the road and are just 3-5 on the road this season).
