I called it years ago. I said it was time for the DCEU to demote Superman and Batman as their flagship characters and instead focus on Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Yeah as much as I love Batman, DC needed new blood for the films. I'm glad that Aquaman and Wonder Woman are successful. Here's hoping that Shazam and The Flash prove to be crowd pleasers. Agree with this, and it has been good to see the two most unlikely hero films become the leaders in the DCEU. Now...we need a good Flash movie and a good Green Lantern movie too and we can go from there. |
