Snyder created a great universe for creatives to play with Yeah I don't really mind what he was trying to do. I didn't think it landed as well as it could have, but I respect him trying to make it some big Greek God epic. It was certainly ambitious. I felt like he was pushed by the studio further away from his vision after MOS, less so with BVS more obviously with Justice League, but I think that was a mistake. Even though MOS wasn't well received, it was much better reviewed than both BVS and JL. It was also a bigger financial success than JL, which is honestly shocking, and IMO, MOS was more financially successful than BVS even though it made less. Because anything with Batman and Superman should've made a billion. So yeah, I think it was a mistake for WB to try and alter his plan. But they've certainly found their footing now, haven't they?
