Speak for yourself, people love me, I'm fucking adorable.
Yeah you legit AF. But how can MCU fans hate on the fact that DC just said “Yeah we fucked up at first but we’re righting the ship”. Like that’s literally everything we’ve wanted them to do this entire time and we STILL be bitching lol. I dunno I do get rolling your eyes at DC a bit at this point because every film since BVS has had the same response in they scramble to "fix" their product, it's been their biggest fault in all of this that they are so reactionary, makes anything they say kind of hollow because it means as soon as one of these less connected films does poorly or gets criticised they will likely change directions all over again.
If they truly have learned from everything and have a game plan even a loose one such as not worrying about keeping it all connected and just ensuring the best possible film each time out then cool, if it's to make their films feel like episodes of a ongoing series again cool, just have a plan and stick with it, it doesn't need to be 100% locked in Marvel's allowed some fluidity in their stuff also, but 9/10 times what Marvel promise they deliver on, DC at this point have scrapped half their line up and have like a dozen projects up in the air they don't know which one they are going to do or not.
So to joke about DC not having a playbook is fair given their unreliable track record since the Nolan films ended imo, just wait though DC could just flat out come out swinging and every major film could be worth a billion dollars, you know imagine if Shazam and Aquaman both make over $1b the big red cheese and the dude who rode a seahorse are billion dollar IP's and Spider-Man fucking Spider-Man isn't, I would love to see that it would be so much fun, as is Aquaman beating Spidey to a $1b movie is already awesome I just want Shazam to do well now also, more money = more movies and that's all I really want.
