Definitely an underrated one. Brad Dourif is outstanding in it. I'm assuming you mean the same scene I'm thinking of, with the nurse walking on the ceiling and the near-miss with the shears. Ooof. people tend to bash 'jump scares' today. to me - this is the greatest 'jump scare' scene in movie history - the slow buildup is terrific - what an eerie tense scene. 2nd - is Brody throwing chum into the ocean when Jaw's head pops up. Well, it can be one correctly and effectively. Problem is that a lot of charlatans out there will have 10-12 in their movie, half of which being some derivative of "character hears noise, walks over to window, cat jumps out with corresponding musical flare" and it's stupid. It's what amateurs do. If you're all jump scare and zero suspense, tension, character, etc., then you're not a filmmaker, you're just some asshole with a camera and money to burn.
