83 Topps. Killer set. My uncle got me into collecting cards during the summer of 85. He gave me a bunch of 85 Topps commons to get me started. I remember sitting down and putting those cards into a binder. It does suck how those 80s cards took a nosedive. I guess the plus in it all is that I'm able to get all the cards I wanted back then but could never afford. did the same dude  have multiple binders going  fleer, topps, donruss - thought I was well on my way to a fortune. what happened? I was particularly proud of my Donruss 'Diamond Kings'   They made way too many of them. I remember when 1984 Donruss Mattingly rookies were going for well over $100. I bought one a year or so ago for a fraction of that.
