Definitely. I think it would work a lot better if they focused on the Horror elements more this time instead of the Comedy elements like the remake did and give them some scary and interesting ghosts to face. I want to see them face far more demonic ghosts this time and I would love to them bring back Slimer if they made it that he could talk and helps them fight other ghosts like he did in the animated series. I heard he was originally meant to speak in the movies too but they decided against it at the time. You are right about the plot sounding a bit cliche but a lot of movies are cliche these days and do the same things they did before and I think that is the only way they can go with it at this point 'cause they are too old to do all the action scenes unless they make another game or an animated movie.

Fair enough. But I think they could still fight even when they’re in their late-60s to early-70s.
