I agree. I don't mind Caped Crusader either but it may be too corny (yet they OK'd 'Dawn of Justice'). ’Dawn of Justice’ was super unecessary. It was like ‘The First Avenger’. As if they needed to remind us all that the team-up film was coming next. I think TFA was also a way to inject the alternative title some markets would use into the main title so people may not get confused if they try googling it, maybe the same for BVS, some countries may not have called it Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, but simply BVS: Dawn OF Justice as to not spoil so clearly in the title the plot of the movie, and instead just hint at them coming together.
We may find such notions insane but the amount of normal people who do not get those sort of things is astonishing, I mean at this point the MCU, DCEU & XCU are all utterly different franchises not linked by any crossover characters, save for Quicksilver who is played by different actors in different time periods, and yet so many people do not get that no Aquaman isn't friends with Spiderman, I men over here in the UK they had to name The Avengers movie to Avengers Assemble just in case people mistook it for a reboot of an old TV show we had called The Avengers, despite that was like a spy show not a superhero show and that the MCU at that point had already grossed like $2B in ticket sales so people should probably know who these characters are, but people be clueless.
I am just curious why did the name change for The Batman take so long, and if he doesn't have a super cool new name for the film he's a fucking idiot, The Batman is perfect because it seperates it from the prior to series but also isn't specific about the story, and can still be fine for them to add to it for sequels without needing to add numbers to it.
