Finally saw it over the weekend. Might be my favourite DCEU film. Pretty looking, dumb fun. A few observations Patrick Wilson really did not look like Patrick Wilson...at times I thought Julian Sands had been given a career boost Some of the designs looked like the makers had scanned through some Warhammer catalogues The Sahara was still an Ocean at the time of the Roman Empire! Really? Sometimes forgot it was set underwater, which made it odd seeing people floating about for no reason. Kudos for having a Depeche Mode track on the soundtrack. Minus points for the shitty Africa cover (an establishing shot that seemed lifted from a Fast & Furious film) Dolph Lundgren was great. Amber Heard reminded me of Scarlett Johansson. Her hair was nice as well And couple of question for DC-Fan If Vibranium made the Wakandians, a technologically advanced nation, barbaric because they followed a medieval tradition of royal succession by bloodshed and mortal combat, what was the Atlanteans excuse? If Black Panther was called that by the MCU to apparentley emphasise his race, did DCEU do the same with Black Manta?
