I liked both Death Wish and Peppermint and both Willis and Garner did well with what they were given to work with. I have no qualms with these films, or the performances. Peppermint is fresher in my memory because I saw this only recently, but I think I may prefer it to DW and it was one of the better surprises of the year for me in terms of enjoyment value.
